I like to think of myself simply as a creative. I work in a variety of different mediums so assigning one label to myself like "photographer" or "writer" would be constricting and wouldn't really illustrate the complete truth. I use different mediums to come to different ends, I have the ability to create innovative solutions for marketing and advertising, but I'm not limited to that. I create compelling stories as well using film, prose and other digital and analog mediums.
I don't consider one format to be the "ultimate" medium, I don't believe that one creative avenue is inherently better than the other. I believe that truly great art is born through the cross-reference of influences from other mediums. I use my experience from my photography to inform my filmmaking and the experience from my design work to inform my photography. Creating great work is my ultimate goal.
